Once upon a time.

today, not very long ago..

the avon lady came calling. my mother was asleep, and so I answered the door with gusto. hullo! I cried. hi, she answered, do you have an avon catalogue? ( she knew we did, she gave it to us yesterday)(bloody liar) I said yes! we do! so I fetched it.

suddenly!

a gust of wind blew shut the door behind me, and I was surprised. Oh! I cried in surprise. It was surprising. the avon lady chuckled. I felt humiliated.
